The online instructor-led format gives you access to CCIM Institute's expert instructors without the cost of travel and time away from the office. You'll master the same concepts taught in the equivalent in-class course, and your only scheduled commitment is participation in online virtual classroom sessions. Students should be comfortable studying independently and with completely online interaction with instructors and classmates.

This 2-hour webinar is intended to provide an overview of the lending trends in the national CRE market. Lending conditions in REALTOR® markets notched another year of sustainable recovery. In contrast to the large commercial transactions reported, commercial REALTORS® managed transactions averaging $1.8 million per deal, frequently located in secondary and tertiary markets, and focused on small businesses and entrepreneurs.

The 2016 Commercial Real Estate Lending Trends shines the spotlight on this significant segment of the economy-a segment which tends to be somewhat obscured by reports on Class A trophy commercial properties. Based on the results from the most recent lending survey, George Raitu will share his perspectives on the dynamics in the commercial real estate sector and the reemerging trends within certain areas within the CRE marketplace.

At the conclusion of the course, students will:

  • Recognize some of the macroeconomic trends impacting the economy and CRE
  • Gain better insight into the current levels of financing coming into the CRE market
  • Understand various trends that are impacting CRE now and in the future
  • Understand areas where risk is potentially reemerging in the CRE marketplace
